We care deeply about where our ingredients come from and our creative kitchen crafts delicious, uncomplicated dishes that let these quality, local ingredients shine.
In addition to working with local farmers and producers, we also have our own organic no-dig garden right here on the grounds. It grows seasonal veggies that inspire our menus and contribute to our farmhouse dishes whenever possible, with fresh, homegrown produce travelling zero miles from garden to plate.

At the end of a long day, we all need a place to rest our heads. With this in mind, we’ve designed our rooms to be a safe sanctuary to recover. Our 27 boutique hotel bedrooms have their own personality: from our characterful, charming Farmhouse, our stylish renovated barn bedrooms or our luxury honeymoon suite.
We have made sure that you will be treated to comfy beds, indulgent bathrooms and all the little touches to ensure you’ll wake up refreshed and ready to explore.

Weddings at The Barns
Just across the courtyard from our Farmhouse stands the enchanting, Grade II listed 18th-century Barns at Redcoats - a multi-award-winning barn wedding venue near Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
Our historic barns can host up to 120 guests for a civil indoor or outdoor ceremony and wedding breakfast, with space for up to 200 guests for an evening reception. Thoughtfully refurbished, these original farm buildings blend quirky, historic charm with stylish design and modern technology - a perfect match made in wedding heaven!

Helping others... ACI matches 5% of the gift card value which then goes into our ACI Community Chest helping us support local causes. It won’t cost you anything, but simply by buying a gift card or e-gift card you will be helping. Raising money for local initiatives has been at the heart of the business, having raised over £100,000 in the past few years alone enabling us to sponsor sports clubs, singing groups, host charitable events, and even donate directly to the likes of Macmillan and MIND.
